Terms and conditions

1. Introduction

  • These general terms and conditions (hereinafter: terms) govern the use of the website and services provided by Camp Bohinj (hereinafter: the provider). By using our website and services, you agree to the validity of these terms.

2. Offer and Content

  • The provider offers campsite rental and supplementary services. All information presented on the website is for informational purposes and may change without prior notice. The provider reserves the right to modify the offer, prices, and other business conditions.

3. Reservations

Individual guests

  • Reservations can be made via an online form. Exceptionally, reservations can also be made via email, telephone, or in person at the campsite reception.
  • The guest confirms the reservation with an advance payment of 50% of the reservation value through the provider’s online payment system.
  • The provider confirms the reservation with a confirmation letter sent to the guest’s provided email address.
  • By confirming the reservation, both parties agree to these General Terms and Conditions.
  • Reservations require a minimum stay of 3 nights in high season or less in lower seasons.

Group reservations

  • Reservations are arranged via email.
  • Advance payment and other reservation conditions are determined by mutual agreement between the parties.

4. Payments

  • Payment at the campsite reception is possible in cash and by credit card (Mastercard, Maestro, Visa).
  • The final reservation amount is calculated at reception based on the actual stay. Any advance payment is deducted from the total final amount. The guest must settle the payment at the latest upon departure.
  • The provider reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, which will be published on the website.
  • The tourist tax will be charged according to the guest’s actual age on the departure date.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be submitted via email.
  • Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before arrival, in which case the full advance payment is refunded.
    For cancellations within 7 days before arrival, the provider retains the full advance payment.
  • In case of a no-show, the provider retains the full advance payment.
  • If the guest leaves early, the provider is not obliged to refund the paid amount.
  • Force Majeure: If the provider must cancel a guest’s reservation due to force majeure, the full reservation amount will be refunded. If the guest cancels due to force majeure, they are entitled to a refund only upon presenting valid proof.

6. Check-in and Check-out

  • Guest check-in on the arrival day is between 13:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
  • After 7:00 PM, the reservation is considered a no-show. Guests can request a late check-in via email or phone by 7:00 PM on the arrival day.
  • All guests must be registered before entering the campsite. A fee of €50 per unregistered person per night applies.
  • Guest check-out on the departure day is from the start of reception hours until 11:00 AM.
  • To check in, guests must present valid identification documents for all guests, including minors. If a guest refuses to provide the legally required information, the provider may decline the reservation.

7. Use of Campsite and Parking

Zone A (Zlatorog, Jezero, Jasa, Unpitched Area)

  • The guest is entitled to use the reserved pitch, which is marked with numbers and limited by embedded wooden stakes.
  • The guest may park their vehicle, set up an additional tent, or attach an awning to the vehicle, provided it does not encroach on other pitches or communal areas.
  • Parking an additional vehicle inside the campsite is only allowed with reception staff permission and for an additional fee. Spaces are limited, so requests may be denied.
  • All movable property must be at least 5 meters away from the lakeshore.

Zone Gozd

  • Guests may set up one or more tents in the non-parcelled “Forest” area and must declare the number of tents at reception during check-in.
  • Tents or hammocks must be set up in a way that does not obstruct other guests or access to public areas.
    Camping in the coastal area is not allowed.
  • Motor vehicles are not permitted in this area. A designated parking lot is available within the campsite.
  • One parking space is included per reservation; an additional vehicle may be parked only with reception staff permission and for an additional fee.

8. Safety and Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • During this time, driving motor vehicles within the campsite is not allowed.
  • Playing music or musical instruments is prohibited during quiet hours. Access to high hammocks is also restricted.
  • The speed limit within the campsite is 10 km/h, and pedestrians have the right of way.
  • Compliance with these rules is monitored and enforced by the campsite supervisor during nighttime.

9. Pets

  • Pets are allowed in the campsite. All pets must be appropriately restrained at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed in sanitary facilities or playgrounds.
  • Access to the lake is permitted for pets only outside designated swimming areas.
  • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

10. Environmental Protection

  • To protect the ecosystem of our campsite, the following is strictly prohibited:
    • Washing dishes in the lake
    • Open fires
    • Damaging trees and plants or hammering nails into trees
    • Installing satellite antennas on trees or plants
    • Uprooting planted vegetation
    • Pouring oil, fuel, boiling, salty, or waste liquids into nature
    • Digging trenches or holes on the campsite grounds
    • Leaving garbage outside designated containers
  • A designated area is provided for emptying chemical toilets.
  • Waste is collected separately (plastic, paper, glass, bio-waste, and other waste) and must be disposed of in the appropriate recycling containers.

11. Fire Safety

  • Open fires, bringing flammable fuels, explosive devices, and similar materials are strictly prohibited by law due to the risk of fire.
    In the event of a fire outbreak within or near the campsite, guests must follow the instructions of the fire brigade and campsite management. Guests may assist in firefighting efforts only if it does not endanger their safety or the safety of others.

12. Liability

  • The provider will deliver services with due care but does not accept liability for damage, loss, or injury caused by factors beyond its direct control (including unforeseen natural or technical events).
  • If a guest causes damage to the provider or third parties through violations, the guest is responsible for compensating the incurred damages.

13. Data Protection

  • The provider processes guests’ personal data exclusively for reservation processing and service provision in compliance with applicable data protection laws. The privacy policy is published on the website: https://www.camp-bohinj.si/privacy-policy/.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content, including texts, images, logos, and other materials, is protected under copyright and related rights laws.
  • Use, copying, reproduction, or distribution of these materials without prior written permission from the provider is not allowed.

15. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of any disputes arising from these terms, the parties will attempt to resolve them amicably.
  • If an amicable resolution is not possible, the competent court for dispute resolution is in Kranj.

16. Final Provisions

  • These terms come into effect on the date of publication on the Camp Bohinj website and remain valid until further notice.
  • The provider reserves the right to amend these terms and will inform guests accordingly via the website.
  • If any clause of these terms becomes invalid, the remaining clauses shall remain in effect.
